This is a specific reproduction of the original P Bass pickup that will fit your P Bass perfectly.
It features plastered Alnico 5 magnets and an enameled magnet wire that is faithful to the original.
The fiber bobbin on which the magnet wire rests and the output wires covered with fabric are also correct.
The near-original Precision Bass pickup sounds powerful low-end, crisp mid-range and sharp, if slightly muted treble, for that true vintage vibe.
The tone is clear and strong. The CMP Classic P Bass set is a passive split-coil P-style pickup, modeled after Fender's legendary pickup from the 60s.
